I really try to train with injuries and move forward with being injured. I try to roll under control and slow down my partner as much as possible. Alos, I try to roll with guys that like to roll slow and under control. Sometimes I can’t even get a grip or tie up when under hooking.

A couple of things I try to do as in medicine like taking Tylone, ibuprofen or icy hot and hot oil. When rolling with injury I go to my half or deep half guard. To slow down the roll with the younger guys, as they like to roll a little faster and more aggression and intense.

The only thing that gets me trouble of course is getting smash by heavier guys and wrestlers. Also try to stay off the mat’s for a day or two if I have too. When off the mats one of the funniest and best times when injured is training at home if you can. Then, I try to warm up before training like stretching and get in the bike.
