Grappling Dummy: The Best BJJ Grappling Dummy

Having the best grappling dummy

Grappling dummy. Having the best BJJ grappling dummy grappling dummy at home and training is really essential for you to get better when you’re not training at your gym. You can train anytime, any day, or just about when you really want to.

Having a dummy at home is very useful to have near you. So, if you want to get better, and you think you’re not getting better at Jit-jitsu, then maybe thinking about investing.

For me, it’s like having the option to train when when I want to and when I feel I want too. The old saying goes if you want to get great or good at something, then you have to put in the work.

Grappling dummy

Having to think through what kind of dummy is important, because you want one that you can easily lift, that fits your game and ones that have longer arms. There are plenty if times where I think I’m not good or struggling in BJJ. The dummy I pick doesn’t have long arms, so I somewhat have an annoying time drilling for arm bars, or if I want to drill lasso guard ,and kimura drills.

Choosing The Right One

As you go through different websites, you’ll see plenty of BJJ dummies to choose from. I got one that needed to be filled with sand. Their very heavy to lift which I like, because it makes it, sims real. The only thing I don’t like about mine is if you don’t fill it fully with sand, then there will be spots of empty holes. Then it just be annoying trying to certain technique on your dummy.

Drill Any Time

BJJ grappling dummy drills at home is really convenient knowing you can do solo drills if you miss training, or you want to work on a different technique at home. You can train 4-5 days out of the week, and that’s plenty.

So, you can choose armbars, kimuras and triangle’s. For me those are probably the best and easiest solo to drill on a dummy. Because you don’t have to Hassel picking them then up and trying to do x guard or de la Riva on a lanky dummy.
