How I train No-Gi Jiu jitsu 9am at home with my DALLX DUMMY

Benefits of jiu-jitsu No Gi at home.

To train at home you need a partner. If you don’t have a human partner then, go purchase a Dummy. You can do certain techniques on a Dummy. You can mount, armbars, arm locks and leg locks to name a couple of techniques.

Benefits No Gi gear

All you need is regular shirt or sweats or shorts. If you want to full legit when training, no Gi buy some No Gi rash guard shirts or long sleeve shirts and grappling shorts.

Benefits of training with purpose

I usually do solo training at home with my DALLX dummy if I can’t make to my gym and train. Reasons why is because I’m a father and sometimes I get too busy with my work and family. So, if I can’t make to my gym where I train, I will just train at home. However, I will sub jest to go to your gym and live train and roll with your training partners. Reality set-in when you’re rolling with a live partner that’s actually trying to choke you or submission you and resisting you.

Can you benefit for having passion.

If you really love something or enjoy doing something you really like. You’ll find a way to train what you have a passion = love. You have to have a mindset that you see a vision and want to accomplish that goal. Having a passion can really make you focus more to reach your aultimite goals. I do force myself to do these things because I really have a passion for it to reach my goals. With out passion = no vision, no goals to reach your full growth to reach the top.

Solo drills at home

  • weakness = Defending the leg locks in 50/50
  • sweeps = Bottom Butterfly guard sweep
  • submissions from back = Chokes
  • passing guard = Knee slice
  • side control = pressure

Other no Gi drills you can work on at home.

There are plenty solo drills to work on at home even if you don’t have a dummy. You can work on agility movement, exercise and workout and weight training. You can journal your progression and write down on your weakness and strong suite. Study other competitors and videos.

Home jiu-jitsu improve your muscle memory. Conclusion

You have an open 24/7-hour gym at your home where you can train all day any day of the week if you want to. It can have a massive impact on your muscle memory.
