1. Passport Original

So, you will need to bring your old original passport with you so they can verify your original passport stay for no more than 6 months stay.

You will need photocopies for passport pages, Laos visa & Laos visa stamp. This should be done ahead of time before you go on your visa border run to Laos, Vientiane

You will need 2 photos for your passport so they can put them on your Laos visa passport. If you don’t have your 2 photocopies before your leave, they will help you get your 2 free photos there.

4. Travel to Vientiane, Laos

So, there are a couple of ways to Travel to Vientiane, Laos.

You can take a flight, train, bus or drive.

For me I traveled by bus leaving from Bangkok to the Lao, Vientiane border.

You will arrive at the Loa border from there you will want to take a bus called Nong Khai main bus transportation to cross over the Lao-Thai friendship bridge.

You will want to get the shuttle bus that goes to the visa check point they will take you to Thai Embassy Lao, Vientiane.

the process takes 2 days to get your visa. Try to get there 8:00 am in the morning because it gets very busy. The next day you will receive your visa stamp for 60-day visa stay.

When you get their you will get a visa tourist application to fill

out inside the consulate for free. They might ask you show proof of were your staying at.

After you fill it out, handover the application and passport, then your free to go.

Collect the 60-day Thai Visa

Return to the Thai Embassy pay 1,000 baht $30.00 in dollars.

Receive your Thai visa and you’re on your way back to Thailand. This is a single entry only.
